We are so blessed to see the Lord move in our fellowship and we are grateful for your donation to the ministry God is doing here at CCA. Giving is a way for you to come alongside us in the work.
For your convenience, we have the ability to accept online donations via secure web services!
Please note – giving online is NOT mandatory, but is purely provided as an option if you choose to use it.
Clicking the picture on this page will take you to our Clover Donations page.
You do not need an account with either service to give, unless you wish to set up re-occurring tithes or offerings that are automatically sent as you specify.
If you choose to, we thank you for partnering with us financially, and ask that you pray God’s wisdom upon us as we reach out with the message of Christ to Augusta. Clover or PayPal will send a receipt for your gift to the email address you provide.
Please retain this receipt for tax purposes, as all donations to the church and its ministries are tax-deductible.
We believe that giving is a matter of the heart.
Each person should give according to what they believe God has purposed and instructed for them, personally.
If you’ve joined us on a Sunday, you may have noted that we don’t take a formal offering, as we believe that giving should not be a guilt-induced event, but rather an act of worship between you and the Lord.
Likewise, we don’t pressure anyone to volunteer their time or energy as we serve one another – trusting God to lead you to get involved as He’s given you wisdom to.
In fact the Word of God tells us this:
“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
– 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
How is my contribution deducted from my account?
You decide. In your PayPal or Clover Donations account you can set up Reoccurring Payments from a designated account (checking or savings) to repeat monthly. You can decide to make a one-time donation using a Credit Card OR you can determine each month how much you’d like to give and when. It’s completely up to you.
How do I keep my checkbook balanced?
You will receive an email from PayPal or Clover Donations each time there is activity on your account. You can note the deduction in your check register after receiving the email confirmation.
How much does Online Giving cost?
It costs nothing to you and may even save you time and money. The church incurs a small administrative processing fee for the service. Check with your local bank to see if there are charges associated with your account(s).
Is it safe?
PayPal and Clover Donations protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal or Clover Donations, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.
Can I use a Credit Card?
This is a very important question. The simple answer –Yes. However, we want to promote good stewardship principles above the convenience of online giving. If you have difficulty managing your credit card spending, we encourage you not to tithe or give this way. Many people use credit cards to pay bills and accumulate bonus points or miles while still paying off the entire balance each month. If you are unable to do that –don’t give on credit!
We don’t take a formal offering at Calvary Chapel, but a tithe box is located in the main foyer if you feel lead to give while attending a service.
