An atheist doesn’t believe in a god or divine being. The word originates with the Greek atheos, which is built from the roots a- (“without”) and theos (“a god ”). Atheism is the doctrine or belief that there is no god . However, an agnostic neither believes nor disbelieves in a god or religious doctrine.
The bare percentage of people who profess belief in a god has never been a good way of defining religious commitment. Some people believe in a personal, intervening god as defined by a religious creed. Others believe in a deist god , a cosmic watchmaker who wound up the universe and then stepped back.
Judaism , Christianity , Islam , and the Baháʼí Faith are called Abrahamic religions because they all accept the tradition of the God (known as Yahweh in Hebrew and Allah in Arabic) that revealed himself to Abraham.
Muslims , Christians and Jews do all worship the same complex God. Yet, in spite of this, all believe that their religion contains the full and final revelation of the same God. Here is the origin of their unity.
Atheism . Atheism describes a state of having no theistic beliefs; that is, no beliefs in gods or supernatural beings.
Omnism is the recognition and respect of all religions or lack thereof; those who hold this belief are called omnists (or Omnists). However, it can also be seen as a way to accept the existence of various religions without believing in all that they profess to teach.
Catholic atheism is a belief in which the culture, traditions, rituals and norms of Catholicism are accepted, but the existence of God is rejected.
Defenders of religion have countered that the question is improper: We ask, “If all things have a creator, then who created God?” Actually, only created things have a creator, so it’s improper to lump God with his creation. God has revealed himself to us in the Bible as having always existed.
What’s the difference between religion and spirituality ? Religion is a specific set of organised beliefs and practices, usually shared by a community or group. Spirituality is more of an individual practice and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose.
The word Hindu is an exonym, and while Hinduism has been called the oldest religion in the world, many practitioners refer to their religion as Sanātana Dharma (Sanskrit: सनातन धर्म: “the Eternal Way”), which refers to the idea that its origins lie beyond human history, as revealed in the Hindu texts.
Brahma is the Hindu creator god. He is also known as the Grandfather and as a later equivalent of Prajapati , the primeval first god. In early Hindu sources such as the Mahabharata, Brahma is supreme in the triad of great Hindu gods which includes Shiva and Vishnu.

Heaven is described in the Qur’an as a beautiful garden. Jannah is Paradise, where those who have been good go. It is described in the Qur’an as “gardens of pleasure” (Qur’an 31:8). Muslims believe they get to Paradise by living religiously, asking Allah for forgiveness and showing good actions in their life.
Most mainstream Muslims would generally agree they worship the same God that Christians — or Jews — worship. Zeki Saritoprak, a professor of Islamic studies at John Carroll University in Cleveland, points out that in the Quran there’s the Biblical story of Jacob asking his sons whom they’ll worship after his death.
