2 Corinthians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God .
Here are some Bible Verses I use to deal with pain Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God , my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
Let’s be very clear : there is no divine purpose in suffering whatsoever. The idea of a God who sees some use in people being in physical pain, or traumatised emotionally, or having their lives wrecked by natural diasters or fellow human beings is warped theology. Self-inflicted suffering is even worse.
God must have a reason for allowing evil and suffering but the reason is beyond human understanding. Christians also pray for those who suffer and try to help them. Evil and suffering in this life is a preparation for heaven . Evil and suffering give people a chance to become better people and improve their souls.

For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “If a man will not work, he shall not eat.” We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat.
Recognition of the fact of suffering as one of three basic characteristics of existence—along with impermanence (anichcha) and the absence of a self (anatta)—constitutes the “right knowledge.” Three types of suffering are distinguished: they result, respectively, from pain, such as old age, sickness, and death; from

In this general sense, disasters can be said to be part of God’s judgment. Humans want to run the world their way, and God allows them. Disasters are a reminder that this world is not the way God wanted. Adam and Eve’s sin brought judgement that resulted in disease and death, and changed the world.
God is all – loving Omnibenevolent means all – loving . According to Christian teaching, God proved his all – loving nature by sacrificing his only son, Jesus, to make up for humankind’s sins. This sacrifice allowed humans the opportunity to have eternal life with God in Heaven .
