1. The freedom Jesus offers is not only the forgiveness of sins, but freedom FROM sin — to no longer be enslaved to sin! 2. Jesus has the power to set you free from the bondage of sin, from any sin, no matter how intense, habitual, or powerful it may be in your life.
In Christianity, salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the ” saving [of] human beings from sin and its consequences, which include death and separation from God” by Christ’s death and resurrection, and the justification following this salvation .
He came to save us from sin by being that sacrifice for our sins . So if we don’t let Jesus take care of the sin problem, then first, we will die in our sins , which means eternal separation from God or hell. Secondly, we will miss out on eternal life, which means eternity with God in this wonderful place called heaven.
