First of all, in context, when Jesus said, “ Judge not, that you be not judged ;” it was not a warning against speaking out against certain actions or behaviors. Matthew 7:1 is actually a precursor given to us by Jesus on how to judge correctly.

When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow . It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfill it. Do not let your mouth lead you into sin.
Apostle Paul mentions the gift of discerning of spirits in 1 Cor. 12:10. St. John Chrysostom in the interpretation of this passage says that these words mean the ability to tell who is spiritual and who is not, who is prophet and who is not since at the time of Apostle Paul, there were false prophets deluding people.
It’s one of the most clear reasons why we shouldn’t judge other people . Each person is different from the other: Remember people have one thing in common; they are all different. If you don’t like doing something, it doesn’t mean that other people should not do it too.

All Sin is not the Same Scripture clearly indicates that God does view sin differently and that He proscribed a different punishment for sin depending upon its severity. While God does see sin differently we now have Jesus to forgive us of our sin .
Most assuredly, hypocrisy is a sin in the sense that all immoral acts are sins . A hypocrite professes to have a certain moral standard but then in practice ignores that moral norm. Only a person who claims to have a moral code can be a hypocrite.

They were full of greed and self-indulgence. They exhibited themselves as righteous on account of being scrupulous keepers of the law but were , in fact, not righteous: their mask of righteousness hid a secret inner world of ungodly thoughts and feelings. They were full of wickedness.
Christ will publicly judge all people by the testimony of their faith – the good works of the righteous in evidence of their faith, and the evil works of the wicked in evidence of their unbelief.
