“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Hebrews 11:16 says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Jesus says “ Don’t worry ” because pleasing God and worrying are mutually exclusive. He is worthy of our trust.
Stop trying to impress everyone. Let yourself hope (in God) Identify your life needs, and focus on what really matters. Question yourself. Get advice when you’re stuck. Be aware of what’s happening around you. Get some encouragement. Get your thoughts under control.
Trusting God is the antidote to fear and worry . In Matthew 6:25-30 Jesus commanded us not to worry . When a person repents of their sin and puts their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus, God becomes their Father. A father takes care of his children.
Why is it so hard to stop worrying ? Negative beliefs about worry . Positive beliefs about worry . If the worry is solvable, start brainstorming. If the worry is not solvable, accept the uncertainty. Get up and get moving. Take a yoga or tai chi class. Meditate. Practice progressive muscle relaxation.

The bible does not state what causes anxiety , because God considers anxiety to be a crisis of faith. The belief here is that anxiety shows that the person has not yet been able to put full trust in God , because fear itself is something that is meant to be relinquished as every person is meant to be part of God’s plan.
Isaiah 43:1 “Don’t fear , for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.” The phrase “ fear not ” is used at least 80 times in the Bible , most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories.
“An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up” (Proverbs 12:25, NIV). “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:4). “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God .

Dear God, I come before You to lay my panic and anxiety at Your feet. When I’m crushed by my fears and worries , remind me of Your power and Your grace. Fill me with Your peace as I trust in You and You alone.
Occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. You might worry about things like health, money, or family problems. But people with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) feel extremely worried or feel nervous about these and other things—even when there is little or no reason to worry about them.
It’s pretty cool because when that happens (a picture of someone pops into your mind or you are reminded of them or you have them on your heart) it’s usually God reminding you of that person for a reason. He is also drawing you into a conversation with Him (prophecy and intercession).
Worry is faith going the opposite direction. Faith is expecting and believing for the best, worry does the opposite! Worry expects and believes for the worst.
